College Playoff Committee needs to be disbanded

I had my reservations about the College Playoff Committee and how they would handle things each week. I gave them a chance until they decided that being undefeated doesn't amount to a hill of beans in this town. When you have an one loss Oregon team jump an undefeated Florida State Team, you lost all credibility in my eyes. When you put Alabama at number one after they beat the number one team at the time Mississippi State, I can see the argument on that. Now, you've jumped an one loss TCU team over a still undefeated Florida State team, I'm officially done with the committee.
Does any remember why the need for a college playoff even exist? It is was because there was always an extra undefeated team or an one loss team that felt that they were slighted and not giving a chance. Well, this committee is doing the same thing to teams that they have complained about for decades. Before any brings it up, Florida State hasn't looked impressive on their wins most of the year. They have won all their games this season and this committee decides to continuously slide them down the polls. If the committee was in place last year, Auburn would have never made it to the National Championship game. Throughout the decades, imagine how many teams would have been left out of the National Championship game because they didn't look pretty or impressive doing it.
This style point factor that this committee added to the mix is ridiculous and ruining the integrity on the game. They are pushing aside sportsmanship so they get the bloodiest results. It's not enough to just win for them. You have to beat your opponent into submission. This committee reminds me of royalty looking down at the gladiator fights and giving a thumbs up or a thumbs down, depending on their mood. College football shouldn't be like that. We forget that it's teenagers and young adults playing out there. I believe this committee should be disbanded. It should be replaced with something that would take the decision away from the emotional judgement of a few individuals. My suggestion let the polls still do the rankings, expand the playoff to either six or eight teams and let the conference championship games decide the majority of which teams get in the playoffs. College football has been setting things up to look like the NFL conferences for awhile anyway. Any thing is better than this unchecked system the committee has now.

An Open Discussion
 By Chuka McCoy

We are people who care

Who feel and can touch others' souls

 We are love

That is a representative of God's love through us

It reaches from our core to others

 Do not let the injustices

Stop us for connecting

 Growing with

And loving each other

That will bring a revolutionary change

This world won't believe
